Can a PS2 to PS3 adapter be used for guitar cons and racing wheels, and can they be used on current gen games?
I have Guitar Hero 3 for PS2, and the Force Feedback Pro racing wheel that Logitech deleveloped just for (pretty much) Gran Turismo 4. I stopped into Gamestop to buy one of the PS2 to PS3 adaptors to use PS2 controls on PS3 consoles, and they were not sure the Guitar Hero controls were compatible, and had absolutely no idea about the race wheels. (And yes, my PS3 is a backward compatible 20g version, so I’ll be able to play both games on it, but my real concerns are the controls. I also have Rockband, so I already know the Harmonix Fender can’t be read by GH3.) My other concern is the generation gap – I’d like to use the above-mentioned last gen race wheel to play Burnout Paradise, and I’d like to use my PS3 Rockband USB microphone on last gen’s Singstar games. Are these cross-generation control options possible?
Sorry for any confusion – as all my questions are kind of related, I figured it would be best to ask them in one big post than flood Answers with multi similar posts.
for the wheel, if it connects via USB anyway, it should be fine, I hope to be getting a logitech driving force EX. that wotks on PS2 and PS3
